This is a story about one woman’s determination to fight for a change in the law, to decriminalise assisted dying in the UK, even though she knows her life will almost certainly end before any legislation could possibly change. Her story is part of a series of case studies we filmed to release alongside Dignity in Dying’s new report.
Perhaps surprisingly, this is also a love story. A tale of two people who would support and care for each other to the very end, perhaps even in the face of legal opposition. This is a record of Christie and her life but it is also the love story of Christie & Jon.
