Lorrainne Castellano was a vibrant and inspirational woman affected by peritoneal cancer. She was a passionate burlesque dancer and skilled costume-maker, with a poodle named Miss Betty and an inherent refusal to allow inoperable late stage cancer to dictate the quality of her life.

For Lorrainne, the purpose of this film was to help anyone facing a terminal prognosis. It was to be a celebration of life and a challenge to the perceptions of how someone affected by terminal illness should live.

I developed this film as part of of a series of intimate case studies created by Raw London for Marie Curie UK. Find out more about Lorrainne here.
