Women and girls around the world are being deprived of their basic human rights. The right to safety, the right to live without fear
UNSILENCED: Stories of Survival, Hope & Activism is a multi-episode documentary series (3 x 21 mins) featuring survivors, activists, and service providers working to end gender-based violence, the most pervasive human rights violation worldwide. This global project involved partnering and coordinating with 16 separate filming and UN Women country teams across the world from Mexico and Kyrgyzstan to Timor-Leste and Bangladesh .
The powerful testimonies from our contributors have received global attention. Offering their voices to the campaign to increase its reach, the episodes are introduced and narrated by Nicole Kidman and Marion Reimers.
